Mediation, Arbitration and Litigation
Founding partners Howard Weiss and Henry Handler have successfully litigated multi-million dollar settlements in
construction defect and accounting lawsuits for some of the most prominent condominium associations and country
clubs in South Florida. Partner William Cornwell, has litigated a wide variety of commercial and tort cases, whose
jury successes include an $11 million judgment against a major car manufacturer in a products liability suit and a
multi-million million dollar jury verdict in a residential condominium construction defect case. Senior Attorney
Carol Kartagener experience includes a $10.7 million jury verdict in a commercial fraud and breach of contract
lawsuit against one of the nation’s largest property managers.
