Property Assessment Challenges

The Firm’s attorneys have challenged property assessments for individuals, homeowner communities, condominium communities, owner-landlords, owners of vacant property and agricultural businesses for over two decades.

If negotiations of assessments and/or exemptions do not result favorably, the Firm’s attorneys are prepared to take appropriate assessment appeals through the special magistrate hearing, Valuation Adjustment Board and civil litigation under Chapter 194 of the Florida Statutes.

The Firm’s attorneys have worked closely with many of the State’s leading MAI real estate appraisers as expert witnesses in assessment challenges and other real estate and commercial litigation. The Firm’s representation in assessment challenges is based on a contingency fee.
