Sam Winikoff is an Associate at Weiss, Handler & Cornwell with a practice focused primarily in the areas of health care law, commercial transactions, intellectual property licensing, regulatory compliance, and condominium and homeowners association law, with an emphasis on health care facilities in the Substance Use Disorder treatment and recovery residence provider spaces. Prior to joining the firm, Sam worked throughout the intellectual property rights management and entertainment industries, drafting and facilitating complex licensing and related agreements. Sam graduated, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law where he was an editor for the University's Business Law Review. A South Florida native, Sam maintains a passion for community engagement and is actively involved in a number of civic and political groups. Sam is also an avid musician, and plays guitar and piano for several local bands.
